About Us
A group of Tamils committed to develop the performing arts of the community, founded the Thamil Isai Kalaamandram in 1992. The executive committee consists of volunteer members elected every three years at the general meeting. During the last fourteen years it has come through all the turbulence of most founding and pioneering organizations and has acceptance today as a conservatory of Carnatic Music and Indian Classical Dances among us.
 

Todays Highlights

Dance is the language of eternity and the primordial mode of communication of the human kind and the entire life forms on earth. Dance certainly developed from the concept of motion that sustains the universe and the founding belief of the ancients that an eternal power is lord over it. It is a continuous motion that conforms to a definite form.
